On Wednesday 21 March, Licia Mattioli previewed Candy, one of the Baselworld focus collections. The Lanterna di Fuksas in Rome was the setting for this event, with around 300 illustrious guests including Nancy Brilli and Laura Lattuada, Bruno Vespa, Vincenzo Boccia President of Confindustria, Ambassador of Australia Greg French and Mrs. French. The Fuksas dome was illuminated by different colours creating a playful atmosphere like the new Candy jewellery, inspired by the bright shades of candy from which the name is taken. Licia Mattioli's collections are made of precious metals and multi-coloured gems. During the evening, guests were entertained by music from the Robin Gals and fine catering. Partner of the event was the historic Piedmontese wine brand Toso. Also present was the Turin-based artistic perfumery company Xerjoff, which donated a free gift of unusual fragrances created especially for the occasion.
