Raymond Loretan as GPHG president

The Foundation of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève announced the appointment of Raymond Loretan as its new president. His appointment, which he took up in January of this year, will promote the development of the GPHG on a national and international level and give new impetus to this important institution. While assuring the independence and neutrality of the Grand Prix, Loretan sees the foundation's task as one of exploring new ways to ensure its sustainability and contribute to maintaining the fundamental role of the watch industry in Switzerland and around the world. The new president, who has a background in politics and finance, succeeds Carlo Lamprecht, in office since the foundation's inception in 2011, who decided to step down to devote more time to other activities. To him goes the gratitude expressed by the foundation for the great work done so far.
