Salvatore Ferragamo Timepieces

Not only accessories for Salvatore FerragamoIn the boutiques of the famous Florentine brand, as well as in the most prestigious jewellers and authorised retail outlets, the new collection of wristwatches, born from the licence agreement with Timex Group Luxury Watches and previewed at BaselWorld 2008, will be on sale from July. The Maison, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, offers its public four lines, for men and women, animated by Swiss Made movements: among the top models are those of the F-80 line, dedicated to men and a direct tribute to the company's anniversary, made of titanium and ceramic, white or black, present in the bracelet inserts, crown and bezel. The models range from the GMT automatic chronograph (as for the model in the photo) to the Tourbillon with gold oscillating weight, 35 jewels and 110 hours of power reserve. The latter was one of the protagonists of the retrospective exhibition on the company's history, which opened last March at the Shanghai Museum of Modern Art and will arrive at the Milan Triennale in September. The Gancino collection, on the other hand, is dedicated to women. For its creation, the Maison used materials such as steel or 18-carat gold for the case, lizard, patent leather or silk satin for the strap, all embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds for the bezel and dial. All information on products and points of sale will be available from next month on the website www.ferragamotimepieces.ch.
