Eberhard & Co. is once again Main Sponsor and Official Timekeeper of the historic re-enactment of the La Coppa della Perugina car race, scheduled for 3 to 5 May. Invented and desired in the 1920s by Giovanni Buitoni, the then patron of the "La Perugina" confectionery company, it is now an event reserved for cars produced until 1968 and held in Umbria, the Green Heart of Italy. For the 2019 edition, the route includes a total of 300 kilometres involving more than 120 cars with competitors coming from all over Italy, Switzerland, Spain, England and Greece. There will be two final classifications, one for cars from the 1920s and one for cars from the post-1930s: the winning crews of both will be awarded prestigious models of the brand.
