Breitling Navitimer 1 Automatic 41

The new Breitling The Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 harmoniously combines some of the features of the brand's most celebrated watch family with a sober design that instantly makes it a classic. With Breitling's famous circular slide rule, characteristic bidirectional bezel, 41-millimetre steel case and three-hand dial, the Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 is an elegant complement to any outfit. Breitling CEO Georges Kern says the watch will attract a demanding audience: "The new Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 is the ideal companion for cosmopolitan travellers. It has a new and contemporary look, but is largely inspired by the iconic Navitimer Ref. 806 and Ref. 66, a three-hand Navitimer that we launched in the years ʽ50. This watch is certainly not in danger of going out of fashion'. The Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 is available in two versions: one with a steel case and a black, blue or silver dial; the other, a two-tone model, whose steel case sports a luxurious bi-directional rotating bezel in 18-carat red gold, is available with a silver or anthracite dial. The hour markers and hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, a luminescent material that guarantees legibility in all lighting conditions. The dial of the watch features a red-tipped central seconds hand and a calendar window at 6 o'clock. The steel and two-tone models are fitted with either a crocodile strap (with a pin buckle or folding clasp) whose colour matches the dial, or a steel Navitimer bracelet with a folding clasp. The Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 is powered by Breitling Calibre 17, an automatic movement with a power reserve of around 38 hours. Like all Breitling watches, they are COSC-certified chronometers: this confirmation by an independent body guarantees their precision and reliability. All Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 watches are water-resistant to 3 bar (30 metres/100 feet). Breitling also presented the Navitimer 1 Chronograph 41 model. This extraordinary timepiece in the collection is available in a steel case with a bidirectional rotating bezel in 18K red gold, a silver dial and a crocodile or brown leather strap, or a steel Navitimer bracelet. The movement at the heart of the Navitimer 1 Chronograph 41 is the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 13 chronometer, which is wound automatically by a unidirectional oscillating weight and provides a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. The hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova and can be read easily through the domed sapphire crystal, which has anti-reflective treatment on both sides. This extraordinary chronograph is water-resistant to 3 bar (30 metres/100 feet).
