Eberhard & Co. dedicates to the sporty soul of the historic Italian brand Alfa Romeo a new chronograph produced in a limited edition and chooses the heart of Milan, the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, as the ideal setting to present this new project. Alfa Romeo and Eberhard & Co., each in their respective sectors, have always had the objective of using technology to strike at the heart with unique products, thanks to their ability to blend technical know-how and emotion, performance and passion. Products destined to last, precisely because they manage to touch the right buttons in the head and soul. The stories of two companies, to be retraced by scrolling through a chronology made up of pivotal moments characterised by innovative models, which have travelled in parallel, united by strength and a desire to excel with many points of encounter, which today are realised under the sign of Quadrifoglio Verde. Eberhard & Co. was founded in 1887 in the heart of watchmaking Switzerland. Alfa Romeo, for its part, was founded in Milan in 1910 and from the very beginning has created cars, placing the driver at the centre of an extraordinary and unparalleled experience. In more than a century of history Alfa Romeo has competed in the most important motorsport competitions, starting in 1923 when Ugo Sivocci triumphed at the Targa Florio in an Alfa Romeo RL, on whose bonnet he had a green four-leaf clover painted on a white rhombus as a good luck charm. Since then the Quadrifoglio Verde has become a hallmark for the sportiest version of the production cars and represents the most advanced engineering, technology and performance available in an Alfa Romeo. Today, Eberhard & Co. celebrates Alfa Romeo with a unique timepiece, designed to represent all the technical and stylistic content that has always characterised the products of both brands, cornerstones of innovation, while maintaining a close connection with their own history. The Eberhard & Co. "Quadrifoglio Verde" Chronograph has a steel case 43 mm in diameter, inside which is housed an automatic chronograph movement. Prominent among the counters on the dial is the continuous seconds, the reading of which is given by the triangular cloverleaf emblem, which becomes a hand. The tachymetric scale surrounding the deep black dial, inspired by the legibility of Alfa Romeo dashboards, respects the tradition of Eberhard & Co. chronographs with a strong automotive imprint. The satin-finished bezel and pushers contribute to the stylistic balance of the case, which is both sporty and refined. The Limited Edition Quadrifoglio Verde will be available in 250 pieces for sale exclusively through authorised Eberhard & Co. dealers.
