Icon Veleno is Meccaniche Veloci's homage to its recent past. The Maison celebrates a model that has become a cult for fans of the brand because of its "swaggering" personality openly flaunted through the use of a very bright and decidedly unusual tone of green. This year, the brand takes up the codes and intentions of the Veleno model to propose a reinterpretation that accentuates every detail, taking it to the extreme. The creative flair of Meccaniche Veloci emerges bursting forth, combining traditional finishes with an unusual colour of great topicality. Icon Veleno dresses its 49-millimetre titanium case with a perlage finish that makes it shiny and iridescent, displaying a workmanship traditionally reserved for the components of the mechanism. Standing out against the background are the four dials, two in carbon fibre and two in guilloché metal with an acid green coating. The four dials mark the hours and minutes each, while the date and seconds hand are located in the two carbon dials, in the upper right and lower right respectively. The individual crowns, four in all, are positioned at each dial, allowing them to be adjusted independently. The strap, attached directly to the case through a system that does not require the presence of lugs, is in green crocodile leather with tone-on-tone stitching and a personalised steel folding clasp.
