The Italian Watch at Macef

From 9 to 12 September, within Macef, at the Milan Rho Fairgrounds, the first edition of L'Orologio Italiano will take place, a collective exhibition dedicated to watches and design made in Italy. An exhibition area to promote the meeting between professionals in the sector and the public of enthusiasts, supporting Italian taste and creativity: experts, manufacturers, scholars, amateurs and enthusiasts, designers, publishers, manufacturers and retailers of "time meters". And clocks of all shapes and types, instruments, hourglasses, pendulums, new and antique mechanisms.

The initiative is promoted by Rassegne and organised by Colas, a company that designs and creates exhibition stands for shows and fairs.

On the final day, Sunday 12 September, there will be a workshop entitled Dove va l'orologio italiano (Where the Italian Watch is Going), open to the public. The thematic meeting, led by an expert in the sector, will record analyses and opinions on the future of Italian design: where innovation, technological and industrial research are going, how creativity is doing, what the growth trends are and how global and local markets compare.
