Just over two months after its opening, the museum Glashütte Original has already registered more than 10,000 visitors! The number 10,000 was a French lady, Marie-Thérèse Rousset, visiting with her husband, who was welcomed by the brand's CEO, Frank Müller, and the mayor of Glashütte, Markus Dressler, with a bouquet of flowers and a champagne toast. 'The great interest we have encountered both at home and abroad,' said Franck Müller, 'shows, after only two months, that we have hit the mark. From the very beginning, we wanted to create a time museum for enthusiasts and connoisseurs, but also for the general public. Currently, we can expect a visitor turn-out of up to 50,000 each year". Inaugurated last May, the German Watch Museum in Glashütte Original was established to acquaint the public with the watchmaking history of the German town and Germany.
