Maurice Lacroix: Masterpiece Embrace

Maurice Lacroix presents its new Masterpiece Embrace, a watch dedicated to lovers with a retrograde calendar and an unusual small seconds indicator, marked by the rotation of two hearts on the dial, a reinterpretation of the patented Square Wheel indicator. Two versions are available: one with a blue aventurine dial and the other in white mother-of-pearl enriched by a series of radial lines branching off from the small seconds indicator. Hours and minutes are traversed by openworked leaf-shaped hands while the lower section of the dial features an arrow-shaped hand - a reference to Cupid - pointing towards the retrograde date indicator, expressed by a series of small dots surmounted by the phrase "je t'aime un peu, beaucoup, à la folie!". The 40-millimetre-diameter steel case houses a self-winding movement, calibre ML258, with rhodium-plated bridges embellished with colimaçon decorations, a rhodium-plated and skeletonised rotor adorned with a vertical côtes de Genève motif and alternating sandblasted and colimaçon finish decorations. The timepiece is accompanied by a matching calfskin strap with a steel folding clasp.
