Dolce&Gabbana Group to attend Baselworld 2020

Dolce&Gabbana will participate in Baselworld 2020, finding a place in the prestigious Hall 1.0. With this membership, designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana continue to communicate their passion for craftsmanship in the fields of watchmaking and jewellery. In this regard, Michel Loris Melikoff, Managing Director of Baselworld, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Dolce&Gabbana to Baselworld and to work together with them. We are going through a creative process that will allow Dolce&Gabbana to not only express its uniqueness to the expected 80,000 visitors, but also to benefit from the programme we are putting in place to keep the international community alive throughout the year, digitally and physically. Because this is our precise vision of an experience platform: to allow brands to be unique in their presentations to various audiences, benefiting from the networks and the powerful audience of Baselworld". For his part, Domenico Dolce said: "We entered the jewellery and watch industry on tiptoe, knowing it would not be easy. The research work was long and arduous, but it was worth it. It is a very fascinating world into which we have brought our values: the love for craftsmanship, the art of handmade things, the attention to detail and the scrupulous choice of materials'. This is the first participation of the Italian House, which will be presenting its creations from the Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie collections. Dolce&Gabbana had in fact already participated in Baselworld in the past, but not directly, but through a partner that produced under licence the products branded with the name of the Italian House and aimed at a young public.
