New Baselworld debut

At its next edition, scheduled for 30 April to 5 May 2020, Baselworld will host the Time Æon Foundation, one of whose objectives is to preserve the crafts associated with watchmaking excellence and help pass them on to new generations by supporting the training of future independent watchmakers. For this première, the Foundation will be exhibiting in Hall 1.0 South, which houses the space dedicated to Les Ateliers. Michel Loris-Melikoff, CEO of Baselworld, said: "I would like to warmly thank Robert Greubel, Stephen Forsey and David Bernard (active members of the Foundation) for their trust and participation in the new Baselworld format, which is evolving into a platform of experiences. By hosting the Time Æon Foundation, Baselworld will offer its 80,000 visitors the unique opportunity to discover and admire a true workshop dedicated to traditional watchmaking and led by master watchmaker Michel Boulanger. Visitors will be able to discover and sit at the workbench, learn and appreciate hand-made finishes in the greatest watchmaking tradition, share, dialogue and marvel. The general public will be invited through all our communication platforms to come and discover the Foundation".
