TAG Heuer is Title Sponsor of the Porsche Esports Supercup

The season kicked off on 28 March with the Pre-Season Test on the Barcelona Circuit and on 2 May the first round of the series will take place on the Park Zandvoort Circuit. The partnership between TAG Heuer and Porsche, already active in Formula E with the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team, is therefore also continuing in the virtual field on the Esports racing platform. "TAG Heuer and Porsche are both experts in challenge, innovation, precision. For an avant-garde watch brand with a historical connection to racetracks, Esports is a fantastic new platform to demonstrate our values and support a dynamic and passionate community in the world of motor racing where competition dialogues with the digital age. We are ready to support a new Esports experience together with Porsche and iRacing to witness the heated challenge between the virtual racing elite," said TAG Heuer CEO Stéphane Bianchi. Last year it was Australia's Josh Rogers who took the first virtual championship title in a thrilling head-to-head with Germany's Maximilian Benecke. Briton Sebastian Job and American Mitchell deJong finished 3rd and 4th respectively. The four will be back on the track again, along with 36 other drivers, in the 2020 season, which includes 10 races, including Monza, which will close the championship on 19 September.
