Slim d'Hermès GMT: journey across the globe

Both classic and modern, the new Hermès watch is characterised by an extra-flat pink gold case measuring 9.48 millimetres in thickness and a broad blue dial. The latter reveals, under a smoked crystal, all the lightness of the typographic style adopted for its hour-markers, as well as the circumference of the hours with a sunburst motif, the blued centre and date counter, the granite-silvered GMT counter with scattered numerals and the slender sand-blasted gold-plated baton hands. At the heart of the watch is the extra-thin IWC-manufactured H1950 movement, which is 2.6 millimetres thick, plus the 1.4 millimetres of the extra-thin GMT module, exclusively developed by Agenhor for Hermès. In addition to the hours, minutes and date functions, this self-winding mechanical composition equipped with a micro-rotor allows the reading of two time zones and two day/night indicators for the hours of the place of departure and travel. The bridges of the movement, hand-bevelled and decorated with an H motif, and those of the module, with a Côtes de Genève and circular-grained finish, are visible through the sapphire crystal back. The watch is secured to the wrist by a matt blue alligator strap made in the Hermès leather ateliers.
