Laurent Ferrier - Grand Sport Tourbillon

Laurent Ferrier is a House known for creating classically styled watches 'imbued' with traditional watchmaking craftsmanship and mechanical excellence. At the latest unusual virtual edition of Watches & Wonders, the Geneva-based watchmaker presented the Grand Sport Tourbillon, featuring a 44 mm steel case combined for the first time with a bracelet made of the same material. The watch was presented last year in a variant with a rubber strap. The movement of the Grand Sport Tourbillon, calibre LF 619.01 (188 components, 23 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour, 80-hour power reserve), is equipped with a tourbillon device (visible from the back side) and a double balance spring. The dial has a new colouring, ranging from opaline blue in the central zone to black in the periphery, and features 18-carat white gold hands and hour markers treated with orange luminescent substance, as well as small seconds at 6 o'clock. Water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres, the Grand Sport Tourbillon by Laurent Ferrier is produced in a strictly limited edition of just 12 pieces.
