Bonhams auction of 5 August

Bonhams Auction House has announced an auction sale to be held on 5 August at 2pm UK time, which can also be followed via live streaming on the auction house's website at www.bonhams.com. Many interesting pieces will be auctioned, including a very rare Patek Philippe, Ref. 5951P from 2010, perpetual calendar with single-pusher chronograph, platinum case and mechanical hand-wound movement (estimate £2000,-250,000). Also worth mentioning are some Rolexes, such as a Day-Date with an orange lacquered 'Stella' dial and green Sultanate of Oman logo at 6 o'clock. With a 36mm 18-carat gold case, it is estimated at between €27,000 and €38,000. Still in the Rolex sphere, we would like to point out a 1973 Explorer II "Freccione", Ref. 1655, with a 39 mm steel case (estimate of 13,000 to 20,000 Euros) and a Daytona Paul Newman with an "Exotic" dial, circa 1970, Ref. 6265/6262, 36 mm steel case with an estimate of 88,000 to 130,000 Euros. Finally, we also point out a Speedmaster Apollo XI 50th Anniversary Moonshine, limited edition number 84/1,014, sold on 31 July 2019, with a 42 mm case in 18-carat gold. Its estimate is €33,000-44,000.
