Hublot - Big Bang and UEFA Champions League

The UEFA Champions League returns and Hublot is proud to present the Big Bang and UEFA Champions League and the Hublot Loves Football UEFA Champions League app. "Because of Covid-19, this has been a very difficult year for everyone, marked by many upsets. But the start of the UEFA Champions League gives football fans around the world a new reason for excitement. Hublot is really proud to be working with UEFA and to be involved in this wonderful competition. We have worked hard to create these special watches for the fans and we know they will make the UEFA Champions League experience even more memorable," said Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot. The new watch is based on the Big Bang and launched earlier this year, and incorporates many additional features to enrich the UEFA Champions League fan experience. The ceramic case, in a limited edition of 500 pieces, and the rubber strap both feature the intense blue colour of the UEFA Champions League. The wearer can choose from various dials, which can be downloaded from the Hublot Store. Various digital and blue analogue options are available, as well as a special colour dial that can be customised to match one of the participating team's kit colours. The watch is based on Google's Wear OS operating system and comes with the new Hublot Loves Football UEFA Champions League app. Users will receive notifications informing them of kick-off time (15 minutes before the start of the matches), as well as goals, penalties, substitutions, yellow and red cards and recovery times. The app will also show the team line-up and VAR decisions and then, when it signals that the match is over, will start the countdown to the next game. If there are two matches taking place at the same time, users will be able to switch from one to the other by simply touching the screen. The app will also be available to current Hublot Big Bang owners. Hublot will also equip UEFA Champions League referees with a special version of the watch, which will not be commercially available. Made of a super-light composite, it will be even lighter than the ceramic version. It will also feature additional technology designed to help the referee, including goal-line technology that signals the referee when the entire ball has crossed the line. Price: 7,000 euros.
