First Tudor boutique opens in Italy

In a very special and complex year like 2020, Hausmann & Co. and Tudor announce the forthcoming opening in Rome of the first Tudor boutique in Italy. The boutique will be housed in a historic palazzo in the exclusive setting of Via Condotti, the heart of the capital's prestigious shopping district. In recent years, the Tudor brand has been increasingly asserting its identity and strength: Rome will be one of the European capitals leading the brand's strategy. An important signal for the economy of the sector and beyond, this new opening will further strengthen the historic collaboration between Hausmann & Co. and Tudor, which is already present in the multibrand store located at Via del Babuino 63. More than 70 years have passed since Hans Wilsdorf founded the company Montres Tudor. The visionary spirit of the founder is always present in the brand's expression, both in terms of design and image. An autonomous and prestigious satellite of the Rolex galaxy, Tudor has long been appreciated by the general public, who prize its qualified offer of models and materials. All Tudor watches are equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement and are available with a rich choice of dials. In addition, each Tudor watch undergoes a series of rigorous tests to ensure its accuracy and reliability.

Hausmann & Co., for its part, present in Rome since 1794, celebrated its first 225 years of uninterrupted activity last year and is still today a family-run business, managed by representatives of two families, German by origin but Roman by adoption: Hausmann and Frielingsdorf, now in their fifth generation. The company is a reference point for Italian watchmaking, thanks to its multi-brand store in Via del Babuino and three single-brand boutiques in Via dei Condotti, supported by a service centre that is one of the most important in Italy. Hausmann & Co. has also made a name for itself through collaborations with numerous institutions: it is in fact a supplier to the Presidency of the Republic, as it was to the Royal House of Savoy, as well as to the Holy See. A watchmaker devotes himself weekly to the care of the more than 80 clocks, including clocks and capuchins, in the papal rooms and flats. In the photo some renderings of the new boutique, whose opening date is still to be defined.
