Featuring an elongated steel case measuring 40 x 20 mm (a design inspired by the very first Reverso Lady model of 1931) and a row of bead-set diamonds (27 in all, opening to 0.3 carats) sublimating the knurling on the upper and lower edges of the case, the Reverso One embodies a classic and refined femininity. Finely drawn lines define the four corners of the dial, where the luminous Arabic numerals almost seem to be hand-written. Since last year, this delicate composition has been presented in a bolder style, thanks to a new, dazzling burgundy-coloured dial. The intense burgundy hue is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer over a subtle guilloché pattern with a sunburst finish and is enhanced by the white numerals and cool lustre of the polished steel case. The new, brilliant burgundy colour also characterises the alligator strap, in perfect harmony with the dial, and adds a further touch of style to the timepiece. Like a blank canvas, the solid steel case of the Reverso One invites the wearer to add a personalised engraving: a special message, a significant date or a bespoke motif. The movement used is the quartz calibre 657.
