Timex - Giorgio Galli S1 Automatic Blue Dial

The aesthetics of the S1 Automatic are due to Giorgio Galli, an Italian designer who has collaborated with several watch manufacturers. However, it is at Timex that Galli has found his optimum dimension. The designer himself said in this regard: 'The Timex brand is unique. It means independence, timeless beauty, quality and incredible value. To be able to shape the legacy of this iconic brand is truly a joy and an honour'. This watch was born out of Giorgio Galli's passion for photography. The 41 mm steel case, which is water-resistant to a pressure of 5 atmospheres, is characterised by special lateral grooves and a mineral glass porthole in the case back. The latter offers the view of the Miyota 9039 calibre (11 ½'', 24 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 40-hour power reserve, -10/+30 seconds per day precision), mechanical with automatic winding, with skeleton rotor and bridges decorated with côtes de Genève. The blue dial features applied baton hands and hour markers, as well as a sapphire at 6 o'clock. The rubber strap is fitted with a pin buckle. Price: 450 euros.
