The new Levrette Levmasters

Levrette, founded in 1832, can boast one of the oldest traditions in Swiss watchmaking. Today, thanks to the ownership acquired by Paul Picot in the 1990s, a new phase is beginning for the Swiss company. Although it is managed entirely in-house by Paul Picot, which takes care of both production and market positioning, the Levrette is set to resume its role as an independent and autonomous House. Paul Picot will guarantee its manufacturing quality and care in distribution, independent of its institutional network. To emphasise its vocation for rediscovering its origins, the House is returning to the market with a revival of a 1950s classic, the Levmaster. The new model is offered in two versions, Classic and Sub 300. The first mentioned has a 41 mm steel case, combined with a calfskin strap or a steel bracelet. The watch is available with an ETA quartz movement or with an automatic mechanical movement, Sellita calibre SW200. Water resistance is guaranteed up to 10 atmospheres of pressure and the crystal protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The Levmaster Sub 300, on the other hand, is a professional diver's watch, with a 43 mm steel case and a unidirectional rotating bezel on 120 snaps knurled on the edge. Water-resistant to 300 metres, the Levmaster Sub 300 is equipped with an automatic helium escape valve and is powered by the Sellita SW 200 calibre, mechanical with automatic winding. The dial features luminescent hands and hour markers, as well as a date window at 3 o'clock with a lens. The crystal is an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Finally, the steel bracelet has a folding clasp with an extension so that the watch can be worn over a diving suit.
Prices - Levmaster Classic: 350 euros (quartz movement); 700 euros (automatic); Levmaster Sub 300: 888 euros (steel version); 940 euros (two-tone version).
