Cuervo y Sobrinos in blue

Sporting a cobalt blue dial with a Clous de Paris decoration in the centre, the new Historiador Retrógrado by Cuervo y Sobrinos. On it are indications of the power reserve at 6 o'clock, the day of the week at 9 o'clock on a double upper and lower scale, and the retrograde date at 3 o'clock, which gives the watch its name and makes use of a hand that sweeps forward on an arc of a circle and snaps back at midnight on the 31st day to start a new run. The movement inside is the calibre CYS 6330, a self-winding mechanical movement based on Soprod 9094/ETA 2892-A2, with a 42-hour power reserve and a balance oscillation frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). Visible thanks to the sapphire crystal on the case back, it is housed in a steel case 40 millimetres in diameter, with elongated teardrop-shaped lugs ensuring greater comfort on the wrist. The watch comes with a dark blue Louisiana alligator strap fastened with a folding clasp. Price: 5,000 euros.
