Faraone Auction House gives appointment
for 14 June

Following the momentum of the domestic auction market, which in the first months of 2021 recorded sales up by 40% compared to the same period in 2020, and on the strength of the positive trend of its online bidding events, Faraone Casa d'Aste makes an appointment for enthusiasts for the auction on 14 June in live streaming, dedicated to jewellery and watches. Fresh from an auction of Luxury Goods centred on the sale of 32 bags of iconic brands, including 16 sought-after Hermès Birkin and Kelly bags, the Milanese auction house has completed the collection of 200 lots that will meet the sure interest of dealers and private individuals. This was complemented by the development of a digital platform that enabled the efficient organisation of distance sales. Buyers, connected through the aforementioned online platform via the Faraone Casa d'Aste App (which allows simultaneous bidding and streaming, via telephone and written bidding), will duel in two rounds to win lots of jewellery and watches from high-end brands, including Cartier, Bulgari, Tiffany, Buccellati and Rolex, as well as a series of diamonds in map and jewellery made by internationally renowned artists. One of the absolute highlights will be a platinum and diamond Art Deco ring with a rare octagonal Ceylon sapphire weighing approximately 12 carats, iridescent, no-heat and accompanied by an SSEF certificate; followed by a rare antique demi-parure from the late 18th century, consisting of a floral-pattern necklace, corset pendant/brooch and side pendants adapted to earrings, made of silver, gold, diamonds and rubies set with foil back. Not to be missed is the New York Maison Tiffany with a 1909 Art Nouveau watch/brooch in platinum, gold, guillochè enamel and rosette diamonds and some more contemporary jewellery including a 6.40 carat tennis bracelet, a 6.01 carat yellow sapphire platinum ring surrounded by baguette and oval diamonds and a platinum and diamond band. As for Cartier, an Art Deco cigarette box in 18-carat yellow gold and black enamel, a rare 18-carat gold and Bakelite clip watch dated circa 1920/1930 with original case will be auctioned. In addition, a 'teddy bear' brooch signed Van Cleef, a 1940s Mario Buccellati frame, a white gold and ruby pendant, together with two brooches from the 'Ape' collection, one with rubies and the second with citrine quartz, signed Sabbadini, will be hammered. A series of brilliant-cut diamonds on a map, all with CISGEM verifiable verification, leave room for the watchmaking lots headed by a steel and gold Rolex Daytona (Ref. 116523), complete with box and guarantee. A Cartier Santos XL in yellow gold and a Bulgari watch from the Serpenti collection with a steel "tubogas" bracelet and diamond-set case, both with warranty and original box, follow and close the "wish list".
