In the wake of the novelties presented at Watches and Wonders 2021, Baume & Mercier's Riviera is now dressed in a decidedly summery luminous green. Two watches are on offer: the first, in steel, is a unisex model with a diameter of 36 mm, water-resistant to 50 metres like all timepieces of this size, and boasts a refined light green lacquered dial with a satin sunburst finish, decorated with subtle stylised waves. It is powered by a new generation "Swiss Made" quartz movement offering 10 years of autonomy. On sale for 1,750 euros. More masculine in its dimensions, the second Riviera, with its deep green dial with a satin-finished soleil finish and the same decoration as the previous one, comes in a 42 mm diameter "Swiss Made" automatic version in polished/satin-finished steel, equipped of course with the famous dodecagonal bezel. Water resistance is guaranteed up to 100 metres. On sale at €2,550. The two new models are accompanied by interchangeable green rubber, grainé and satin-finished interchangeable straps, equipped with a triple folding clasp with safety catch. They are also equipped with the ingenious Fast Strap interchangeability system developed by Baume & Mercier, which enables the soft strap or steel bracelet to be changed in seconds: thanks to it, the straps simply click into place in the space between the lugs, without any special tools or effort. The rubber straps are available in different colours (black, blue, green, light blue, white and mauve).
