It starts again

From 1 July, trade fairs and congresses are scheduled to reopen in Italy. As far as the watch industry is concerned, we are preparing for a return to the big live events from September, with the 2021 edition of Vicenzaoro, from 10 to 14, which will be flanked by two events expressly dedicated to watches: VO'Clock and VO Vintage, also open to the public of watch enthusiasts from 11 to 13. In this setting, the award ceremony for the Watch of the Year will take place, awarded as always by the readers of our magazine.

Vicenzaoro will be the first international trade fair event of the 2021/2022 season for the jewellery sector. It will be preceded by the Geneva Watch Days. From 30 August to 3 September, in fact, Geneva's hotels will host around twenty watch brands. Numerous presentations will be open to the public, mostly local, although greater participation from abroad than last year is not excluded.

Meanwhile, Watches & Wonders also announces the dates for the 2022 edition, which will also be held in Geneva, at the PalaExpo, from 30 March to 5 April. Nothing is yet known about the participating brands nor about the format of the event, traditionally reserved only for professionals. What we do know for certain, however, is that there are many watchmakers who are eager to take part in what is now Switzerland's only watch fair. For the watchmaking community, there will finally be a calendar in which to meet live, in person, to exchange opinions, information, data or even just impressions on the industry and its constantly changing offerings.
