Metro neomatik 41 Update, known more simply as Metro Update, at 41 millimetres in diameter is the largest model in the Metro series from Nomos Glashütte. It features Nomos' exclusive patented ring date display, launched with the Tangente collection in 2018, which allows the date to be set very easily, forwards and backwards: fluorescent orange indicators framing the current date stand out on it and are clearly visible thanks to the adoption of a domed sapphire crystal protecting the silver-plated white dial. Its case, made of steel, houses the self-winding manufacture calibre DUW 6101, with 42 hours of power reserve. The strap is a dark grey, woven, water-resistant fabric with quick-release spring bars. The new Metro Update was a real challenge for its designer Mark Braun, who is also credited with having designed the previous 13 versions of this model. On sale for 3,500 euros.
