The sustainable choice of Greubel Forsey

From 1 January 2022, Greubel Forsey will no longer use any kind of animal raw materials in the manufacture of its straps. Instead, it will use vegetable leather straps that will be practically indistinguishable from those used until now. A wide range of colours will be available, and even the buckles will be folding or pin buckles, depending on models and requirements. This carefully considered decision represents a real paradigm shift. "The technical offer of vegetable leather straps is now well established, and our customers are by definition avant-garde, open to innovation, and always looking to the future. Our aim is to align ourselves with their world view, and we are thrilled to be able to make our contribution to a more responsible Haute Horlogerie," says Antonio Calce, ChiefExecutive Officer and Executive Board Member.
