The Damiani Group invests
in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

After the release of the premises by the previous tenant and the necessary bureaucratic delays, the Milan City Council signed the concession contract with the Damiani Group: an 18-year agreement that gives access to over 800 square metres of space located in the most suggestive and busiest part of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This investment in one of the main luxury shopping streets at an international level is part of a strategic development plan for the Rocca 1794 chain. At the same time, it demonstrates how much the Damiani Group believes in the commercial potential of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and appreciates the redevelopment process of the area, carried out by the Milan City Council over the years. Moreover, through this operation, the Group further consolidates its ties with a great partner of excellence, namely Rolex, of which it has been a dealer for years and which is distributed in several Rocca 1794 boutiques. The Rocca 1794 chain of shops is present in many of the most important Italian cities (including Bari, Bologna, Catania, Lecce, Mantua, Milan, Padua, Taormina and Turin), in the international airports of Fiumicino and Malpensa, as well as in Switzerland, in Lugano to be precise. Over the coming months, in addition to the opening of the Rolex boutique in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (whose architectural design was created by the well-known Milanese studio Citterio-Viel ACPV), Rocca 1794 plans to further expand its distribution network. Founded way back in 1794 and acquired by the Damiani Group in 2008, Rocca has become a reference point for watch and jewellery enthusiasts over the course of its more than 200 years of history, thanks to the excellence of the brands it represents, the wide range of luxury products it distributes, a punctual after-sales service, and the appreciated preparation and culture of its sales personnel.
