Bell & Ross - BR 03-94 Patrouille de France

Bell & Ross has always been a company with a passion for history, design and military values. In particular, the brand has made aviation and aeronautical instruments one of its main sources of inspiration. Sharing the same values of performance and precision, the House has long equipped members of special forces and emblematic institutions. Recently, Bell & Ross was selected by the Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace to become the official watch partner of the Patrouille de France, the Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace's professional aerobatic patrol created in 1953. Its mission is to represent the Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace at home and abroad as an ambassador for French aviation and France itself. Regarded as one of the most precise and aesthetically refined aerobatic teams in the world, the Patrouille de France has been flying across continents for more than 67 years and continues to amaze new generations of spectators every year. Consisting of 9 pilots and 35 engineers, the Patrouille de France manages the annual events with military precision. It traditionally opens the parade on 14 July, France's national holiday, with nine Alpha Jets. The demands of the armed forces and military specifications have led Bell & Ross to go even further in terms of reliability, readability and functionality. Every parameter - case diameter, functions, water resistance, legibility, precision, autonomy, shock and temperature resistance - becomes a key factor when a military institution chooses a watch. The Maison worked closely with pilots to design a chronograph perfectly suited to their needs, namely the BR 03-94 Patrouille de France. Produced in 500 pieces, this limited edition features the Patrouille de France coat of arms on the dial. The 42 mm case is made of black ceramic and houses a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement, calibre BR-CAL.301. Water-resistant to 10 atmospheres, the watch is fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal to protect the aforementioned dial. An identical version of the watch - equipped with a quartz movement - offered in a limited edition of 100 pieces, will equip the pilots of the Patrouille de France. The pilots use the watch mainly during the ground phases up to take-off.

Price: 5,900 euro.
