Frederique Constant's invitation to travel

Frederique Constant's Highlife collection is enriched with a Worldtimer model. The watch is equipped with the IWC-manufactured calibre FC-718, a self-winding mechanical movement with 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 38-hour power reserve, visible through the transparent case back. All its functions are set via the crown: these are hours, minutes, date at 6 o'clock and disc with 24 cities representing the 24 time zones of the Earth engraved in the centre of the blue dial. In addition, for the indication of day and night, the inner disc is engraved with 12 hours on a clear zone (cities where it is daytime) and 12 hours on a blue zone (cities where it is night). The luminescence of the hour and minute hands facilitates reading during long night journeys to the other side of the world. All around, a 41 mm-diameter steel case, water-resistant to 50 metres, fitted with no less than three bracelets: to an initial proposal in steel, polished and satin-brushed with three links and a folding clasp, the Maison adds a strap with a silky finish in blue Nabuck, as well as a third strap in blue rubber. The price of the Highlife Worldtimer Manufacture is €3,790.
