Hamilton in the world of video games

Hamilton's new collaboration with the Far Cry video game underlines the American watch brand's passion for creativity and technological excellence. Indeed, Hamilton, with the Khaki Field Titanium Automatic, will be the first brand to have a watch integrated into the Far Cry saga, contributing to the realism of the video game. Designed for action, the Khaki Field Titanium Automatic is the perfect watch for Dani Rojas, the game's protagonist, a guerrilla soldier fighting to free the island of Yara from dictatorship. Players receive the watch from the character Juan Cortez, as a gift for completing a dangerous mission, and can rely on its precision to fight El Presidente Antón Castillo, the ruthless dictator of the fictional Caribbean island of Yara. To provide an even more tangible cinematic experience, the cruel tyrant is played by actor Giancarlo Esposito ('Breaking Bad', 2009-2011) and the revolution has the rhythm of notes composed by Pedro Bromfman ('Narcos', 2015-2017). Chosen for decades by film directors, Since as far back as 1932, Hamilton watches have appeared in over 500 films and TV series. They have helped make war films authentic, imagined the fashion of the future in science fiction sagas and taken on key roles in adrenalin-pumping thrillers. As virtual universes become increasingly true to life, it is the smallest details that make all the difference, in Hollywood films and video games alike. "Every detail is crucial when creating a virtual universe, whether it's meant for the big screen or a video game," explains Vivian Stauffer, CEO of Hamilton. "We are always at the forefront of technology, so it seemed logical to transfer our cinematic experience to the world of video games. Khaki Field Titanium Automatic is the perfect watch for the adventurous world of Far Cry 6, and brings even more realism to the story of this revolution." Far Cry 6 will be released globally on 7 October 2021.
