Hublot - Big Bang Unico Berluti Aluminium

The collaboration between Hublot and Berluti began in 2016 and this year has resulted in a new interpretation of the Big Bang Unico. In particular, this exclusive model features the use of Venezia leather for the dial, bezel and strap. On the dial, one can see the hour markers and the "Swiss Made" inscription in relief on the leather. The leather itself is sandwiched between two sapphire glass surfaces, the cut of which reveals part of the Unico movement. Speaking of this new watch, Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, said: "This new Big Bang Unico Berluti Aluminio is certainly not what you would expect, and so, of course, we did! Urban in character, it picks up on the tones of satin-finished concrete, the element that dresses the largest metropolises. Sober but technical, monochrome but rich in nuances, it explores a very minimalist creative terrain on which we were not used to venturing. A model that will surprise many. In collaboration with Berluti, a technique was also developed for inserting natural dyes into the leather, which crystallises them over time. The strap symbolises the perfect fusion of the two worlds and is available in two versions, one in Aluminio coated Venezia leather and the other in Aluminio coated Venezia leather and a Scritto pattern, exclusively for Japan. The Big Bang Unico Berluti Aluminio uses a 44 mm titanium case that is water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres, with a resin central body. The movement that animates it is the Hublot MHUB1280 calibre (354 components, 43 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 42-hour power reserve), mechanical with automatic winding. Finally, the Big Bang Unico Berluti Aluminio will be delivered in a special case, also containing a travel case and a Berluti signature shoe key ring.
