Casio Edifice Honda Racing

Casio launches the new ECB-S100HR Honda Racing Championship White Edition, the latest collaboration model in the Edifice line developed in collaboration with Honda Racing, the racing department of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. The collaboration between Honda Racing and Edifice was born in 2018, based on the common quest for high-tech functionality. The ECB-S100HR visible in the photo pays homage to Honda's illustrious history and achievements in Formula 1, inspired by the design of the RA271, Honda's historic racing car. Specifically, in 1964, the RA271, with a white livery and the design of a rising red sun on the bonnet, was the first Japanese-made car to participate in an F1 race. The colour of the livery, called 'Championship' white, became a symbol of Honda's sporting spirit. The bezel of the ECB-S100HR is finished in the original Championship white that contrasts with the red of certain details. The motif on the edge of the dial is reminiscent of the chequered flag. The leather strap is two-tone, white on the outside and red on the inside. The ECB-S100HR employs a quartz movement with a Tough Solar charging system. The watch also has a Bluetooth connection and a high-intensity dual LED light. This new Edifice also connects to the smartphone via a dedicated app to automatically adjust the time and allows the wearer to choose from over 300 cities to set the world time. It also offers a Time & Place function to record the time, current date and location on a map in the app at the touch of a button. The sub-dial at 9 o'clock displays a 30-minute countdown to the alarm or preset time. The 46 mm steel case is guaranteed water-resistant to 10 atmospheres.
Price349 euros.
