Wyler Vetta's Jumbostar returns

The watch created by Wyler Vetta for the 125th anniversary of its foundation draws its inspiration from the famous Jumbostar launched in 1968, the most technical and significant timepiece the company had produced up to that time. An automatic chronograph with a strong masculine connotation, the current model faithfully takes up many of the typical features of its predecessor, first and foremost the black dial with its steel hourmarkers and large luminescent hands, as well as the chronograph minute and continuous seconds counters at 3 and 9 o'clock respectively, in white on a black background, creating the characteristic "panda" effect. The Jumbostar 125° also features a date window at 6 o'clock, together with the inscription '125°' in red. In common with the past model, it features a rotating flange-setting crown at 10 o'clock on the case middle in addition to the traditional chrono pushers and crown on the opposite side. It comes with a 43 mm steel case and a domed, reinforced mineral crystal that defines its "vintage" flavour. Guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres, it is equipped with a Swiss Made self-winding mechanical movement and is sold with a commemorative wooden case together with two leather straps in black and cream that can replace the steel bracelet with which it is equipped. Price: 1,995 euros.
