Milan restarts

Today I would like to give space to a friend, Andrea Sangalli, President of the Associazione Orafa Lombarda and promoter of an initiative that L'Orologio is backing again this year as media partner: Milanodoro - gold, silver & watches.

In a phone call ignited by an enthusiasm that is difficult to contain, Andrea explained to me at the beginning of the month: 'Milanodoro is a project that I hold very close to my heart, in which the watchword is to team up together. The new edition is strongly aimed at the general public and therefore also at watchmaking enthusiasts. Who are invited to discover the novelties of the participating brands thanks to events, launches and vernissages organised in boutiques and shops in Milan, in a well-defined period: from 12 to 15 November'.

As of today, the following have joined the project Baume & Mercier, Longines, Tissot and the same Sangalli since 1900which will host a live presentation of the new generation of Chronomaster Sport and Original by ZenithThe calendar of events will be extended in the coming days and can be consulted at .. An app is also in preparation, which will allow visitors to geolocate events in the city on their smartphones.

We suggest that interested companies, both manufacturers and sales outlets, contact AOL for further information: +39 02 76395042; milanodoro@orafalombarda.it. Milan is starting up again and in my opinion it would be nice if it did so together with watchmaking.
