Franck Muller: a Crazy Hours for Snoopy signed Bamford

Launched in 2003, Franck Muller's Crazy Hours collection immediately caught the attention of aficionados thanks to an idea that is both simple and compelling. On the dial of Franck Muller's Crazy Hours models, in fact, the hour markers are not placed in the usual positions (with the exception of those at 1, 4, 7 and 10 o'clock), but are placed randomly on the dial, so that, as the hour hands change from one hour to another, they literally fly across the dial, just as if they had gone "crazy".The latest addition to this particular collection, dedicated to Snoopy, was created in collaboration with Bamford Watch Department. On the dial, the famous cartoon character created by Charles Schulz shows the hours and minutes via his front paws, while Woddstock peeps out on the 4 and 10 o'clock hour markers. The dial itself (protected by a curved sapphire crystal) features a special concentric luminescent pattern in green, which is therefore only visible in the dark. The 39 mm blackened steel case houses the MVD FM 2800-CHR calibre (279 components, 19 jewels, 42-hour power reserve), a self-winding mechanical movement. The watch is paired with a black, hand-sewn leather strap. This is a limited edition of only 25 pieces, already sold out.
