At auction, the prototype of the latest Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm 'Tides of Time' for World Heritage by Jaeger

All'asta il prototipo dell'ultimo Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm ‘Tides of Time’ for World Heritage di Jaeger

Yesterday, 16 February, Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the online auction of the Number 1 prototype of the Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm Tides of Time, from the new SIHH 2009 collection. The total proceeds will go towards UNESCO's World Heritage project. Symbolising the "Tides of Time" partnership between the Swiss watchmaker, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Herald Tribune, this model associates two of Jaeger's emblematic complications: the alarm function and the second 24-hour time zone with reference cities. Three of these have been replaced by three natural sites, Scandola in France, the Galapagos in Ecuador and Tubbataha in the Philippines, which are on the World Heritage List and benefit from a specially dedicated conservation programme supported by the Swiss Maison. This partnership will last three years to support the promotion, protection and preservation of marine sites of great importance, which require immediate and specific action.

If you are interested in participating in the auction of this watch, made of steel and titanium, and for more information on the activities of this project, you can click on the website www.jaeger-lecoultre.com.
