Watches of Italy reaches its third edition

The third edition of W.O.I. - Watches Of Italy, the first national exhibition dedicated to Italian watchmaking production, will be held on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September 2022 (free admission, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) at the Museo delle Macchine Agricole 'Orsi' in Tortona, Via Emilia 446. The sponsoring body is the Municipality of Tortona (AL). From this year, in order to participate in the exhibition as an exhibitor, the application form can be filled in directly online on the website www.watchesofitaly.comuntil all available places are filled. Last year, the second edition of the fair was attended by some 3,000 visitors and hosted 10 more brands than the first edition, also registering a +50% in terms of attendance.

The fair was created to showcase and celebrate the talent of Italians working in the watchmaking world. There will be Italian and foreign brands from all over the world that all share the common feature of being directed and managed by Italians. Italianness is expressed through creativity, design, innovation and technical/design skills. Watches Of Italy is therefore an exhibition-market where you can see and touch the watches, where you can also directly purchase those on display or reserve new models thanks to the prototypes that you can preview in person for a more informed purchase.

The real novelty of the third edition of W.O.I. is represented by W.O.I. Vintage, a two-day market entirely dedicated to vintage watches and collecting historical timepieces. W.O.I. Vintage will be part of the historical national antiques exhibition 'Cantarà e Catanaj', an event that, now in its 80th edition, attracts collectors and fans of vintage objects from all over Italy.

The exhibition will take place in the historic centre of Tortona, and more precisely in the splendid setting of the historic Piazza Malaspina, the oldest and most fascinating square in the city. In addition, the organisers of W.O.I. are taking steps to organise an interesting forum for debate and discussion with leading figures in the sector, in order to take stock of the Italian and international situation, to sound out market trends and try to outline the future of watchmaking more generally.
