In time to music with Audemars Piguet

The new Royal Oak Offshore 37 and 43 mm are available in different materials, set and unset, and recall the world of recording studios.

Five Royal Oak Offshore Automatic Music Edition with a decidedly unusual Tapisserie motif dial: the design reproduced is in fact that of an equaliser, of the kind found in recording studios. Another Audemars Piguet homage to the world of music is the knurled pins along the lugs, reminiscent of jack plugs, and the crown guards inspired by the faders on mixers.

Different materials are used, as are the available sizes. The first two models, in a limited edition of 500, are designed in titanium in two diameters of 37 mm and 43 mm to suit different wrist sizes. Both feature a blue dial that serves as a backdrop for the colourful Equaliser decalcomania and is embellished with the AP monogram applied in white gold at 12 o'clock. The 37 mm model, in particular, has larger polished bevels and a curved sapphire crystal similar to that of the 43 mm edition, an evolution of the design that made its debut last year on the 43 mm Royal Oak Offshore line. Price: 28,700 euros, for the 37 mm version; 31,200 euros, for the 43 mm version.

This new collection also includes two white gold models in 37 and 43 mm, with a dial and bezel set with coloured 'Harmony' cut stones. Both versions sport a blue aventurine dial that reproduces - as on the titanium models - the image of an equaliser created by the use of ten colours obtained by invisibly setting different stones: rubies, peridots, tsavorites, green, blue and orange sapphires. Stones of similar colour (rubies, tsavorites and yellow, orange, green and blue sapphires) also embellish the bezel of both references, harmoniously matching the tones of the dial. Price: on request.

Completing the collection is a 43 mm model, limited to 250 pieces, with a black ceramic case, matching dial and contrasting titanium elements such as the lugs, crown protectors and pin buckle on the strap. Price: 39,900 euros.

They are all equipped with a rubber strap that matches the respective dial colour and is interchangeable with the three additional yellow, green and turquoise rubber straps that accompany all five references (it should be noted that, for the first time, the interchangeability system is also provided for a 37 mm model). In particular, on the 37 mm models, the strap is decorated with a textured mosaic-effect motif.

At the heart of these new Royal Oak Offshore is an automatic movement with hour, minute and seconds functions without date display: calibre 5909, for the 37 mm references, and calibre 4309, for the 43 mm models.
