Watch of the Year Award
Vote for the 2022 champions!

Now is the time to vote for your favourite watch in the 12 categories we have chosen and award the title of champion to the best timepieces of 2022.

With a tried and tested formula, and a few minor renovations, the Orologio dell'Anno (Watch of the Year) prize is back, the traditional award instituted by our magazine that will engage you readers in awarding the title of champion to the best timepieces of 2022. The selection of the 36 competing timepieces, subdivided as usual into 12 categories and all potential winners of the only Italian watchmaking award, was once again entrusted to our editorial staff, which made its choices, not without some difficulty, focusing on this year's most interesting novelties, both on a technical and aesthetic level.

While in general the competing sections are reconfirmed, there are two important debuts in this new edition of the award: the introduction of a new category, that of GMTs, which has seen a rich production in 2022 with many nice surprises; and the introduction of the Innovation section, which replaces the New Technologies section, welcoming more specifically models that have stood out for their technological research, in mechanics as well as in materials. In addition to these, you will be able to choose your Watch of the Year in the traditional sections Solotempo, Chronograph, Underwater Watch, Tourbillon, Complicated Watch, Design, Savoir-faire, Calendars, Ladies' Watch, Value for Money. The choice is varied, although some brands won a double nomination.

The voting procedures remain unchanged: you can either email lorologio@dgedizioni.it with a scan of the ballot form published in the magazine, completed in all its parts, or fill in the online form accessible at this LINK.

In addition, the votes cast by you readers will be joined again this year by the special award given by L'Orologio Club to one of the watches competing in all categories.

Make your voice heard and award the Watch of the Year with us! The award winners will be announced in the November issue of L'Orologio.
