Green dress for the Girard-Perregaux Laureate

The undeniable allure of Girard-Perregaux's most iconic model in an eye-catching new colour: the Laureato 42 mm Green is born.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato 42 Green

The dial of the latest addition to Girard-Perregaux's Laureato collection sports a green hue, a trend in the watchmaking world. The nuance is combined with the Clous de Paris motif that decorates it and makes it iridescent by changing from one hue to another depending on the surrounding lighting.

On closer inspection, an unusual detail stands out: for the first time on a three-hand Laureato, the main colour of the dial, in this case green, is combined with a flange that is no longer tone-on-tone but in black. Also in black are the hourmarkers and hands treated with PVD and coated with luminescent material for optimal legibility, especially in the dark.

The characteristic features of the Laureato are all there, from the octagonal bezel to the alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces of the case, made of steel and 42 mm in diameter, to the integrated bracelet.

At the heart of the watch is the GP01800 calibre, a self-winding mechanical movement, which allows a glimpse through the sapphire crystal case back of the côtes de Genève oscillating weight. The minimum power reserve is 54 hours.
