Bulgari Octo Roma:
increasingly versatile

A new chronograph, clous de Paris dials, an architectural and integrated design, water resistance to 100 metres and an interchangeable strap system make the Octo Roma a casual chic watch for any occasion.

Bulgari Octo Roma

Octo Roma is the softer, less angular interpretation of the bold, architectural forms of the Finissimo. Without renouncing, however, proprietary signs and recognisable elements, such as the superimposed round/octagonal double bezel. Always and unmistakably Bulgari, Octo Roma has expanded a product range at its most accessible, while retaining style and appeal.

The adoption of the octagon is a tribute to the Eternal City. This geometric shape, in fact, boasts a long tradition in the history of Italian architecture: we find it in art masterpieces such as the Pantheon and in the vaults of the Basilica of Maxentius, dating back to the 4th century AD.

The new chronograph version is characterised by the maximum legibility of its guilloché dial, available in blue or black and with a Clous de Paris motif. In addition to the luminescent hour markers and hands for optimal visibility even in the dark, the three tone-on-tone counters arranged radially at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock indicate continuous seconds, chrono hours and chrono minutes respectively. Smaller and more discreet is the date window, placed between 4 and 5 o'clock. The two chronograph pushers have been integrated into the case, which is 42 mm and made of steel, in continuity with the lugs. The movement is the BVL 399 automatic calibre with a 42-hour power reserve.

A guilloché dial with a clous de Paris motif also for the solotempo version with a 41 mm steel case, available in blue, anthracite and white. The movement, in this case, is the BVL 191 automatic calibre with a 42-hour power reserve. In both models, the screw-down crown is integrated in the case and with protective straps and guarantees water resistance to 100 metres.

The House has introduced the strap interchangeability system into the collection. Extremely secure, this device does not require the use of any tools: a perfectly integrated button on the back of the case, at the two lugs, allows the steel bracelet to be exchanged for a rubber strap with a simple click. A further selection of rubber and alligator leather straps in various colours can be purchased separately.

Prices9,900 euros (chronograph); 7,900 euros (automatic).
