Hublot on a roll...

Hublot a gonfie vele...

Jean-Claude Biver confirms himself as the marketing genius that he is. The 1,000 Hublot Luna Rossa watches created to celebrate the partnership with the Italian boat are already all sold out, a contract that has cost Hublot less than 500,000 Swiss francs: we are talking about 3 million for the name on the boom of the South African boat and up to 10 million for the sponsorship of other challenger boats. Hublot is associated with the boat and the whole project, with an official licence agreement at the level of the watch (it can, for example, use the genetic code and materials of the boat) and, of course, for the use of Luna Rossa's image and sailors. In addition, this agreement extends to Prada, which will, as of now, sell the Luna Rossa watch in its 11 single-brand shops worldwide. And corners will be set up to promote the Hublot brand. But the adventure will not stop there (at the first 1,000 limited edition watches) as a contract has already been signed to produce another 2,000 watches after the cup, which will be on sale as of next July. And another contract between Hublot and Prada is already in the pipeline for the next America's Cup.
