The 79th Piazza di Siena Horse Show concluded on Sunday 29 May. Official partner, as has become tradition, is the Maison Longines, which welcomed a rich parterre of illustrious guests and celebrities during the days of the sporting event. On Saturday 28, guests of the brand were Milly Carlucci with her husband Angelo Donati, Justine Mattera, Beppe Convertini, Giorgio Gobbi, Pietro Genuardi and Nina Senicar.
The Swiss maison was also a partner of HippoGroup Roma Capannelle in organising the Fair Play Prize awarded this year to Roberto and Francesca Arioldi. The two, father and daughter, have distinguished themselves in the field at Piazza di Siena: by winning a competition at only 17 years of age, Francesca entered the competition's guinesses as the youngest winner in the history of the competition. Her father Roberto, a six-time Italian champion and former coach of the Italian national team, not only made the Italian team for the Nations Cup this year, but also finished third in the Small Grand Prix.
The CSIO in Piazza di Siena was also the occasion to present to the public the Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph model, with its steel case and automatic calibre with a blue column wheel visible through the transparent back.
