TAG Heuer supports the enterprise of Simone Gesi, a Tuscan sailor engaged in the Mini Transat 6.50 transatlantic regatta that will start from the French port of La Rochelle, next 25 September, to arrive in three weeks in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, covering 4,800 miles solo on a boat of only 6.50 metres by 3. The race of the small, high-spirited boats, with the most limited means available and absolutely no communication with the mainland, is an extreme experience for pure sailors, who rely on their own preparation and reliability. The Swiss watchmaker accompanies Gesi on this adventure with the Aquaracer 500M Full Black on his wrist and the TAG Heuer logo on the spinnaker.
