Panerai - The first single-brand boutique in Milan

A new Panerai boutique joins the other three already present in Italy: it is the one in Via Montenapoleone in Milan, inaugurated on 21 June. Over an area of 70 square metres, the shop windows display models from the Panerai collections and the brand's most sought-after special editions. In addition, the House wanted to pay tribute to its close ties with the Italian Navy through the use of shapes and materials that evoke the world of the sea: an alternation of essential lines and sinuous structures like waves, all made of glass, white marble, steel and a special teak wood subjected to a special treatment for an even more "seafaring" look. What makes the brand recognisable, inside the boutique, is the presence of a large wall clock characterised by one of the distinctive features of Panerai production, namely the typical sandwich structure of the dial, which features indexes and hands treated with SuperLuminova to increase their visibility even in poor lighting conditions. On the occasion of this opening, the House presented two new special-edition, limited edition timepieces that pay tribute to the city of Milan and that can be purchased exclusively in the boutique on Via Montenapoleone: these are the Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT - 44 mm (20 pieces) and the Luminor Marina - 44 mm (100 pieces), both featuring a special engraving on the caseback, depicting the facade of the Duomo and the entrance to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
