Swarovski al Premio Roma

On the evening of 16 July, the Roman Theatre in Ostia Antica was transformed into the stage for the tenth edition of the Premio Roma, a literary competition in which prizes were awarded to three authors in three sections: Foreign Fiction, Italian Fiction and Non-Fiction. Sponsor of the event, the brand Swarovskiwhich created an exclusive transparent crystal Lion with a faceted granite base for the winners. The evening was presented by Paola Saluzzi. The guest of honour was Austrian actor Maximillian Schell, who was awarded the 2009 International Prize for Culture. Tito Stagno was also present to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, as well as the Mayor of Rome Gianni Alemanno.
