Corum builds on its close ties with the sailing world by sponsoring the AC45 Energy Team, the French crew of the Peyron brothers who are one of the eight challengers in the pursuit of the 34th America's Cup. Antonio Calce, CEO of the company, commented on this new partnership: "Participating in the Americas' Cup is every sailor's dream and, by definition, the dream of a brand like Corum, which has played a key role in the industry since 1960. Thanks to the experience and professionalism of the Peyron brothers, I can already see them competing in the 2013 America's Cup in San Francisco Bay on an AC 72 multihull. This would be a wonderful reference to our Golden Bridge collection, which celebrates San Francisco's famous Golden Gate Bridge'. As a reminder, the America's Cup comprises three main sections: the America's Cup World Series (Cascais, Portugal, 6-14 August 2011; Plymouth, England, 10-18 September 2011; San Diego, USA, 12-20 November 2011; + 7 races in 2012, the dates of which will be announced in October); the Louis Vuitton Cup (4 July-1 September 2013); the America's Cup (7-22 September 2013).
