Norberto de Angelis, who from 25 April to 22 July rode his handbike along the famous US Route 66, which connects the American continent from east to west, has successfully completed the unique feat. Norberto de Angelis, a 45-year-old former European American football champion, despite the handicap that forces him to use a wheelchair, took on his personal challenge and covered some 3,800 km in eighty-one days on a special bicycle for the disabled called a 'handbike'.
Accompanying him and supporting him in the venture was the brand Fossil.
During the trip Norberto kept a diary on his websiteupdated daily with photos and details of the various stages.
