Breguet's Marine collection is enriched this year by an unprecedented GMT model. An extremely useful complication for frequent travellers, the time-zone is indicated on the two central hands. On the black rhodium-plated dial, an off-centred hour circle at 6 o'clock and a 24-hour indicator at 2 o'clock indicate the reference time. The watch is offered with an 18-carat rose gold case, 42 millimetres in diameter, and a black rubber strap. The sapphire case back allows one to admire the 11 1/2-line automatic calibre 517F, which has a 72-hour power reserve. The precision of the movement is ensured by the use of silicon for the inverted-line anchor escapement and the flat balance spring beating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres, the Marine GMT is also available with a steel case and a silver-plated dial.
